St. Petersburg Joules Race to Support Breast Cancer Survivors

Aligning efforts with both Jabil Joules’ and Jabil Cares’ focus area of Educate, St. Petersburg employees and family members demonstrated their continued support for breast cancer initiatives and participated in My Hope Chests’ Butterfly GloWalk & 5K Fun Run this past weekend. My Hope Chest is a nonprofit that offers financial assistance for under- and uninsured breast cancer survivors who had a mastectomy during their treatment and are looking for breast reconstruction surgery. The event focused on creating awareness around the impacts of treatment for this type of cancer and empowering survivors.

Similarly, last fall, Jabil Corporate supported breast cancer awareness efforts in partnership with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers by sponsoring the Treasure Chests Finish at the 50 race, which had more than 3,000 people from the community participating.

Around the world, Joules are committed to breast cancer initiatives, research and education. Read how many other Jabil sites have shown their commitment to this important health topic.
